Monuments

Washington, DC is a city of monuments. The U.S. honors generals, politicians, poets and statesmen who helped shape the nation.  While the most famous monuments are on the National Mall, one will find statues and plaques on many street corners around the city.  There is never an admission fee to any National Monument.
